Spring Break…
is over. School starts up again tomorrow. It’s been a pretty good break. I went back to Hercules for a hot second to see my sister and parents and kitties. For reasons unknown to me, the kitties were not so thrilled by my visit. I came home with three scratches from each of the three cats. Tinkerbell got my hand while Ethel left a long red line on my neck. Blossom actually gave me a swollen black eye when she attacked my face! She bit and scratched me below my eye, and I woke up the next day looking like I had "walked into a door." The worst thing was that I was telling her how much I love her right before she lashed out. Best believe I took those words back. On the bright side, the scab on my face gives me a rough look.
I got the most recent Lindsay Lohan album and am obsessed with that "Confessions" song. She does a cover of Stevie Nicks’ "Edge of Seventeen" which is awesome! The rest of the album is aight. Other recent acquisitions: "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Season Four and "The Simple Life: Interns." Nicole is seriously my new hero (move over, Mandy). My favorite moment is when she gives bronzer to a six-year-old boy as a going away gift. She does it in such a way that he’s really excited and touched by it. What’s so great about her is that she doesn’t have some awesome talent or extreme good looks. She’s just a normal person with a hilarious personality, a fun outlook on life, and great clothes.
I picked up my old juggling balls while at home. I’d forgotten how meditative juggling is. It clears my head and relaxes me like nothing else. I’m mastering the art of behind-the-back catching, but it is not easy! I’ll never give up, though.
One last thing, and this will be the end of my most materialistic blog entry to date, I got a new used mini-disc player through a shady craigslist deal. It works well so far! The guy drove all the way from Yuma, Arizona to make the exchange, and I’m pretty sure his fuel costs for the trip exceeded what I paid. Let me just say that it is so wonderful to have music for my bike ride to work. Much better than just thinking of songs and singing them to myself. That gets old quickly.
TTFN!
